Pneumatic line for automated sample handling
A protected pneumatic transfer system designed to automate the internal logistics of seed batches in agronomic research laboratories. The line connects the different operating stations, allowing every sample to be sent quickly, in a controlled and traceable way, throughout the entire processing flow. The handling is designed not to damage the seed and to avoid contaminating the batches.

- Clean environment
- Reduces cross-contamination and dust
- Traceability
- Barcode: every sample identified and tracked
- Automated
- Batch logistics with no manual handling
- Scalable
- Configurable to the laboratory layout
Overview
A protected pneumatic transfer system designed to automate the internal logistics of seed batches in agronomic research laboratories. The line connects the different operating stations, allowing every sample to be sent quickly, in a controlled and traceable way, throughout the entire processing flow. The handling is designed not to damage the seed and to avoid contaminating the batches.
Designed to integrate with Automata stations and machines and, subject to technical assessment, with compatible third-party solutions, the system turns the laboratory into an automated operating environment. For each batch you can define the route, operations and destinations in advance, then start the process with coordinated management of the activities.
The control panel and the synoptic display show the line status and the position of every material in real time, identified by barcode and automatically tracked from one station to the next. Transfer runs automatically thanks to level sensors, with adjustable parameters and selectable processing flows across the connected stations.
- Gentle handling via cyclones: designed not to damage the seed and to avoid contaminating the batches throughout the path.
- Dedicated loading and unloading points on each machine, integrated into the pneumatic network: samples move from one station to the next with no manual handling, open containers or uncontrolled intermediate steps.
- Real-time synoptic display: position of every material along the line, status lights for each station and activity logging.
- Traceability via barcode readers: every sample is identified and automatically tracked throughout the flow.
- Automatic transfer managed by level sensors, with adjustable parameters (transfer times, filters, belts).
- Selectable processing flows across the connected stations: shelling, grading, optical sorting and more.
- Reduces the risk of cross-contamination between batches and limits dust dispersion in the environment.
- Integrable with Automata stations and machines and, subject to technical assessment, with compatible third-party solutions; customisable to layout, machines and workflows.
